Spring Temperatures

The story of a farm season often closely tracks the story of local weather. So a must-read (at least for me) is the monthly report of the New Jersey state climatologist:

The most recent report is just out. May 2012 ranked as the 4th warmest May in New Jersey history, gong back to 1895. Rainfall was average.

The big headline is that Spring 2012 (March, April, May) officially ranks as the warmest ever in New Jersey. The second warmest spring in New Jersey history was 2010.
